RHMI Pharmaceuticals has signed its first distribution contract - for vitamin products. We are not naming the manufacturer at this stage.
Why it matters to us
Our core service is the Marketing Authorisation Holder (MAH) role for manufacturers worldwide: holding the product registration in Malaysia and carrying the obligations that come with it. Distribution is a different commitment, and we take it on selectively - only for products we choose and can support for the long term. This contract is the first.
What it means for manufacturers
- The MAH role stays open to any manufacturer. Holding a registration with RHMI is never conditional on giving us distribution.
- Distribution is our choice, product by product. For products we do not distribute ourselves, we work through partners.
- Import runs through a licensed partner. Currently, the importer of record is a licensed import partner operating under our coordination.
